C2C are a four member dj group from France and four time world DJ champions for turntablism. All four members use their turntable as instruments, recreating turn drums or bass, scratching a guitar rift or adding sax.

After they won the Disco Mix Club championship four years in a row from 2003 to 2006, they decided to venture into original production. “Down The Road” is the title track of their five-track EP Down The Road released last January. 

C2C’s style of jazzy hip-hop electronica should help them carve their niche in the edm world.

Music is in Courtney John’s blood, being part of the family that spawned reggae great Beres Hammond and a number of others involved in the business aspect of the industry. Collaborations with international musicians Nelly Furtado and Michael Franti have also help to push John’s artistic boundaries. “I like to explore the limits of what I am doing and find other ways that I can use my talent,” the singer said. His distinctive sound and writing abilities has been sought after by some of the biggest names in Jamaican music having contributed to the chart topping hits Cant’ Stop A Man by Beres Hammond, Shining Time by Marcia Griffiths and The One Pop Reggae album by Sly & Robbie which earned a 2011 Grammy Nomination.

However, the once studio-bound musician and label head is taking his arsenal of music and preparing for extensive touring in support of From Letters to Words. Beginning the summer of 2012 and carrying well into 2013, fans can catch Courtney John performing their favorites songs all across The UK, Europe, The United States and the Caribbean Festival circuit.
