Turns out that Gramatik has another music project besides his collaboration with GRiZ called Extreme Magnitude and they just dropped this classy but crunchy mashup. T

The musical genre Acid Jazz incorporates jazz, funk, and hip-hop elements for anybody unfamiliar with the term. It sounds incredible when the right musicians make it. 

BTW, TaKoHANDz has been going back through his older posts putting links to all the free MP3’s. The website will have 6 or 7 pages by tomorrow or Saturday organizing the 1000 posts into several categories to make browsing easier. Some of the best songs are hidden in the posts and TaKo wouldn’t want y’all to miss any of them.

HERE WE GO! First Extraordinary Magnitude track ever!

It’s one of the instrumental songs on our upcoming debut album “Proportions” mashed up with “No Diggity” acapella. We thought it worked really good together so we decided to drop it as a remix. The instrumental version is a completely original song and will be featured on the album. We’ll be releasing “Proportions” this summer on Lowtemp.

DJ Maars does a splendid job mashing up the Luniz classic “I Got 5 On it” with his beefed up version of the “Doctors Darling” Riddim. The dancehall/reggae musical term riddim refers to the instrumental accompaniment of a song and famous ones are put in hundreds of songs.  The “Doctor’s Darling” riddim was a revitalized version of Gregory Isaac’s “Night Nurse” from a german production outfit of reggae artists. The ‘Doctors Darling’ riddim has been championed quite a few times since it’s creation in 2002. Their are a few well done remixes of ‘I Got 5 On It’ floating around the web but none with as rich a history as this.
