I’m very happy and glad to share this new one with you. It’s my first edit that I’m giving to friends that isn’t hip-hop, soul, or disco. I’ve been wanting to try a new direction (either Rock or music made in the 1960’s) and hopefully you all dig it. Also, this is professionally mastered & mixed by my guy Al Jieh, which is also another first for me.

The Rolling Stones need no introduction and since they are in the middle of celebrating fifty years (!!!!!!) of being together, I think now is a good time for you to enjoy this. I took one of their lesser knows hits and gave it some punch, effects, and the usual King Most trickery

DJ Maars does a splendid job mashing up the Luniz classic “I Got 5 On it” with his beefed up version of the “Doctors Darling” Riddim. The dancehall/reggae musical term riddim refers to the instrumental accompaniment of a song and famous ones are put in hundreds of songs.  The “Doctor’s Darling” riddim was a revitalized version of Gregory Isaac’s “Night Nurse” from a german production outfit of reggae artists. The ‘Doctors Darling’ riddim has been championed quite a few times since it’s creation in 2002. Their are a few well done remixes of ‘I Got 5 On It’ floating around the web but none with as rich a history as this.
